The Samsung dishwasher error code LE indicates a leak has occurred. But it is difficult to identify the problem visually. The self-diagnosis system responds in time, so puddles do not form around the dishwasher.
What does LE error code mean and how to remove it?
It is a leak error. When it appears on the scoreboard, protection is activated and the equipment stops working. Try rebooting: close the shut-off valve, unplug the machine for 5 – 10 minutes, and then restart it. Sometimes it is enough to solve the problem.
If this measure did not help, look for other reasons. Failure can be caused by extraneous factors.
- Make sure that moisture does not flow into the casing from outside (you were flooded by neighbors, a pipe break occurred, you accidentally spilled something).
- Check that the drain hose is joined correctly. In case of improper position, part of the water from the sink gets into it.
Has LE error not disappeared? Most likely, the pan is full. Unplug the unit, remove the side wall and determine if there is liquid in it. But note: with the door closed and the power off, the dishwasher can drain excess automatically.
If there is a lot of water, remove it slightly tilting the casing. The float will click into place. Allow the machine to dry before starting. It will enable to start the unit, although it will not solve the problem in case of a real leak. If the drip pan is dry, move the float sensor. Perhaps the contacts stuck on it or it stuck to the body due to constant contact with a greasy and soapy environment.

Leaking tank

Gaskets of the chamber are worn out
Eventually, rubber gaskets wear out, especially the lower ones. Because of this, puddles accumulate during the work under the machine. The gaskets can be strengthened. But if they hardened and cracked, you will have to install new ones, and for this, it will be necessary to disassemble almost the entire dishwasher, what only professionals can handle.
Leaking hose
When holes appear in it, water leaks out and flows into the drip pan, wherefore LE error is displayed. Inspect the fill and drain tubes. Temporarily wrap the leaky places with insulating tape or glue them up. Then, be sure to replace the damaged parts, because such a repair is ineffective.
If visually everything is in order, check the gasket washers. It is possible that they are distorted or loosened. In addition, the heating element could come off the mounts and press on the hose so that it disjoined.
